Dr. James Cuffe

Dr. James Cuffe is an anthropologist and lecturer with Criminology at University College Cork. James is co-director with Dr. Jill O'Mahony of an ethnographic research and consultative group within the centre.  He is the General Editor of the Irish Journal of Anthropology  and a fellow of the Royal Anthropological Institute. His research focuses on the social effects of technology using philosophy and anthropology to navigate the spaces between technological knowledge and cultural understanding. His regional focus for research centres on Ireland and China.
